Contains day, date and hour of service, clergy officiating, Bible text or subject, number of congregation, number of communicants, collection and remarks. According to St Peter's Church vestry minutes the first service was held on 23rd August 1959.

St Edmund's Church was established in 1959 in a small wooden Progress Association Hall on Nelson Road. However, its official opening and dedication did not occur until 21st July 1963 when presided over by Bishop Robert Davies. In the 1960s attendance peaked occasionally in the 80s and 90s. However, attendance generally declined during the 1980's and after a mandate of closure was voted and passed in October 1995, the last service was held there on Christmas Day of that year.

These records are part of the holdings of the Tasmanian Archives
