This series comprises 6 maps that were in the possession of John Avery and which relate to the interest he had in the production of paper pulp from eucalypt. They probably relate to the land in which his brother David had an interest as a director of Amalgamated Zinc. Amalgamated Zinc had a subsidiary, Tasmanian Paper Pty Ltd, which took an option on forest land in the Huon Valley, in 1926. The plans date from 1926 to 1932. Some are annotated copies of those that relate to the Bill for the Florentine Valley Wood Pulp and Paper Industry, 1932
