Series notes:
This is a series of publications intended to keep the EZ employees up-to-date with happenings around the Risdon Works and the Rosebery West Coast Mines.

'The Electrode' was published from 1920-1930 with the tagline 'Devoted to the interests of the E.Z. employees and to the co-operative activities at Risdon'. It was published monthly during ther period 1920-1930. It was discontinued, due in part to the "financial stringency in the latter year, and perhaps in part to lack of support and difficulty in maintaining the requiste standard at monthly intervals."

'E.Z. Review' was a quarterly magazine published from 1955 to 1975. Topics covered differed from the earlier publication. "It is intended, however, that it will contain personal references of interest to the Company's employees wherever located and, of equal importance, an attempt will be made to inform readers about the different sections of the Company's activities, its progress and expansion program, any plans pending for further development, and chantes in procedure."

This was followed by 'EZ News' in 1985. When North Broken Hill had the company, EZ was included in its publication 'In Touch'. In 1986 EZ continued the tradition with a four page employee newsletter 'Zinc Link', transforming to ZinkLink in 1993. When Pasminco had the company, 'On Site' was provided to employees with the latest business and personnel news. Also included are 2 quarterly financial statements for employees.

The Design Office produced 'Hotch-Potch' over 10 years (1946-56). This magazine included original drawings, typed stories and essays.

'Plantwide' was a weekly A3 sheet with staff achievements in safety, production and sports, staff movements and job vacancies.

'PMEZ Performance Report' was a monthly A3 listing of production targets - both the planned and the actual.

These records are part of the holdings of the Tasmanian Archives
