Series notes:
Mathers started a mail-order service in 1911. The most complete series dates from 1917 with letters, order forms, fabric samples and carbon copies of typed messages. These lettters were rescued from the floor after the business closed judging by the wheelie bin tracks, shoe prints and torn pieces of paper.
