Series notes:
This series comprises a combination of glass plate negatives and lantern slides. Many are part of a Beattie Tasmanian series. The slides appear to be a mixture of acquired, Bester family personal slides and slides used in the Bester family business e.g. NS4077-1-322. A small number of images are of contents that appears to be related to Queensland and an Indigenous / Aboriginal community there. As at 2023 further information is being sought as to the nature of these images.
