Series notes:
Visitors Book from the accommodation at The Springs, Mount Wellington, built by Henry Woods in 1860. The volume came into possession of the donor through the family connections with W. R. Gibson, the former premier of Tasmania. W.R. Gibson was a visitor to the Woods accommodation.
As well as recording visitor names and dates, the volume contains comments and descriptions of visitor experiences climbing the mountain and descriptions of the hut
