Fragment of a diary, written during the summer months of 1863 from the Huon, where the gentleman was doing the masonry of a new church, whose foundation stone was laid by the Rev. Archdeacon Davies. The diary reveals the author's feelings of frustration that his love Isabel will not consent to marry him.
