This index describe the negative, date and box number in which it is contained.
In 2006 Mercury staff retrospectively indexed the negatives in an electronic database. A copy of the database was provided to TAHO. It was not possible to retain the record with its original functionality. TAHO created 2 indexes and reduced their size by removing multiple entries to the same set of negatives. The 2 indexes are NS4935 (this index - 1921 - 1948) and NS4946 (index to 1948-1989)
