Series notes:
There are five diaries in this series. One is in note form written by ancestor William Stevens in the UK. The second and third two chronicle overseas travel - one written by Geoffrey Noel Stilwell and one written by his daughter, Rosemary. The fourth was kept by Alice Stillwell (later Thompson) while at Fir Grove Military Hospital in Hampshire during 1915-1917; it includes cartoons, caricatures and messages from soldiers. The final, fifth journal was kept by Norah Georgina Stilwell and contains photographs and watercolours recording travels to Switzerland with two aunts. Norah and Alice were Geoffrey Stilwell's great aunts.

These records are part of the holdings of the Tasmanian Archives
