Series notes:
This series comprises six items. The first is an annotated scrapbook containing items of general interest, Tasmanian interest and of family interest (e.g. cuttings from English newspapers about Stilwell english relations). The second notebook contains original and copied verses, along with letters "to Mary"; The third is a book recording wedding gifts and from whom they were received (possibly the wedding of Noel Stilwell to Dorothy Francomb). The fourth item is a manuscript book of games written by M. Stilwell and dated 1925. The fifth item is inscribed on the fly leaf Frances (Stilwell) Wapshare and contains dried pressed flowers, hair locks, watercolour views and diary entries relating to the Stilwell family. Frances Wapshare was the sister of Geoffrey Stilwell's great great grandfather, John Pakenham Stilwell. The sixth item is an album of art works with some loose watercolours, pen and ink drawings and pencil sketches. A few have been flattened and stored separately alongside the album. Some of the works are dated 1820-1850 and comprise Dutch, Swiss or Flemish and English images.

These records are part of the holdings of the Tasmanian Archives
