Series notes:
A set of property ownership documents related to the site of the Franklin Congrgational Union.
Established in 1844, the Franklin Congregational Church was the oldest Congregational Church south of Hobart. A 'Franklin Church building fund' was established in 1876 to fund construction of a church building, with the building being completed in 1878. The Church is no longer standing, having possibly been destroyed in the 1967 bushfires. The Maxfields Road Cemetery is all that remains of the church. A WWI honour roll from the church can be found at the Cradoc Memorial Hall, Channel Highway, Cradoc.
