Series notes:
This series contains two works submitted to Island State Films. The first is a handwritten film script prepared by Margaret Rae written during 1961 and 1962, together with some correspondence. This correspondence indicates she was a friend of Peter Sculthorpe as she has written about attending a party he hosted. Margaret Rae was a child health nurse, based for a time at St Mary's Child Health Centre on the East Coast of Tasmania. In related correspondence in series NS6307, it appears that Margaret was also a financial contributor to the film "They Found a Cave".

The second script is more in the form of a synopsis, written by journalist, Iris Marcin of Sydney. It is entitled "The Endless Road" and appears to be based on circus life, with which Iris was familiar, having travelled with the Bullen's Circus as secretary to Mr Bullen. The synopsis is accompanied by correspondence.

These records are part of the holdings of the Tasmanian Archives
