Series notes:
Photographs of a fire effected area 15km out of Maydena in Southwest Tasmania, along the Gordon River Road. This area along the road had been burned in the far reaches of the Gell River fire. On recording this scene Tscharke remarked "The stench of burnt vegetation was quite overwhelming, and the incinerated trees looked quite surreal in the moonlight. It was sad to see this area so affected by fire".
