How to Use:
Ownership retained by the Hobart City Mission but the State Archivist may make copies available for research, preservation and access purposes and may authorise publication requests from clients on behalf of the donor.
Series notes:
Comprises volumes of minutes which record the activities of the Mission. They begin at Book no. 2.
They include information about donations collected, visits made, outreach, and reflect various concerns at different times - e.g. religious outreach, working on temperance matters and assisting with poverty. In some of the volumes there are pasted copies of letters, constitutions, newspaper clippings and annual general meetings. In some cases there are loose inserts in the meeting volumes.
