How to Use:
Usage of any images requires written permission from the State Archivist and needs to use the form of acknowledgement "Courtesy of the Cooper Collection, Tasmanian Archives, Libraries Tasmania". Note that other conditions may apply to photographs which were lent to the Coopers for copying (items NS687/1/151 to 172). See item NS687/1/150 for notes of these conditions.
Series notes:
A wide range of material related to Post Offices in Tasmania (including staffing), as well as photographs of the Cooper family. Includes copied material as well as images taken by Joy and James Cooper. Items NS687/1/1 to NS687/1/64 are lists, correspondence and notes. Items 80 to 148 are mainly photographs/slides (copies and originals). Items 65 to 79, and 149, are lists of the contents of the photographs. Items 151 to 172 contain photographs that were lent to the Coopers and may have reproduction restrictions. Items 173 to 333 are family and scenic photographs, most unidentified.
