Miscellaneous photographs and printed material relating to the Butler family of 'Ellerslie', Battery Point from the collection of Mrs Joan Harvey, the daughter of Kate Butler (Mrs Alex Temple-Cox). Kate Georgina Butler was born on 6 Dec 1849, the daughter of Charles Butler, the son of Gamaliel Butler. She married Alexander Temple Cox and had four children: Winifred, Guy, Joan (Mrs Ronald McPherson Harvey) and Phyllis.
