Series notes:
The Mount Bischoff Mail was a short lived newspaper published in 1881 at weekly intervals from March 19 to May 21. All editions were handwritten, offset duplicates. Only the first edition has the name 'Waratah weekly news'. The last edition was No.10, and included a note regarding the need for the paper to close. As at 2019, Tasmanian Archives held seven editions only, with one being a copy (No.7) from the holdings of the Queen Victoria Museum and Art Gallery.
