How to Use:
This series is affected by vinegar syndrome. Many of the negatives have been so badly damaged that they have been destroyed. 35mm negs have been made of this series and contact prints were made,from the original negatives for NAA by Tasmap Photographics in about 1990.
The listing of these negatives is an ongoing project.

This series consists of a photographic record of activities relating to railway mechanical operations. It comprises a pictorial record of important events and railway accidents during the period 1947 to 1977.
