An album of 84 photographs of unknown origin dating to circa 1900. Most of the images are of Hobart's highlights, but there are some of its surrounds - one each of Mount Nelson, Sandy Bay, Battery Point, and the Bridgwater Causeway. There are only 3 of Launceston, and a smattering of other localities: Fern Tree (7), Port Arthur (5), Eaglehawk Neck (2), and New Norfolk (1). Ten of the images are of churches and cathedrals. There are 2 photographs of paintings: 1 of indigenous people and the other of 2 ships from the colonial period (no details are provided).
