This series represents the first applications and correspondence received by the Commission. Correspondence Nos 1-1377 are indexed in SC 295. Early letters details procedure to be followed - reports were to be sent to the Colonial Secretary, who sent them, with grants issued by the Crown Solicitor, to the Lieutenant Governor.~
