All applications were entered in this register, which is the main control for the series listed below. The second volume, 1855-1926, is indexed. Before Dec 1858, land jurisdiction was under the control of the Commissioners for Claims to Grants who issued 607 reports (SC 285). The Supreme Court began a new series 1 Dec 1858, (SC 309/2 fo 33) and issued 219 reports (SC 305).~
