Description:
The Glen Dhu Infant school was operating as early as 1925. In 1951 the Examiner reported Glen Dhu Infant School as being overcrowded, and that a remedy was being sought to rectify the situation. A foundation stone was laid for a new infant school at Glen Dhu in 1954, and in 1956 the students were accomodated all under the one roof. The Infant school closed in 1990 and a celebration dinner was held to mark the event.;;;;
