Description:
The Board of Education met to discuss the proposal of the use of the chapel at Mangana (Fingal Gold Fields) for five years as a public school. This was to be dependent on the Government making a grant of the allotment on which the chapel stood.;;The school at Mangana was originally opened to support the families of workers of the Union Quartz Company.
