St Leonard's Primary School is a school located in St Leonard's, a semi-rural locality north of Launceston. It is a co-educational school catering for years K-6. Established in 1859 as Patterson's Plains State school, new wooden buildings were added in 1866 and the school's name was changed to St Leonard's Primary. It was re-built in stone in 1877, and new classrooms were erected in 1934. The school celebrated it's 150year sesquicentenary in 2009.
