The Matriculation Girls' Hostel was established at 149 Park Street (late Brooker Avenue) in the Hobart suburb of Glebe in late 1966. ;;;;It was envisaged that 50 boarders would be required to ensure the hostel ran economically. A Board was appointed to run the facility and operated under the control of the Department.;;;;At the end of 1984 the hostel's name was changed to Trinity House.;;;;By 1995 the Department had relinquished control of student hostel accomodation, with privately consituted boards of management running the hostels generally in conjunction with school councils.;;
