Description:
The Authority comprised 8 members serving three year terms and chaired by the Secretary of the Department administering the Authority. Two members are appointed to represent the interests of employers, two to represent the interests of employees and the remaining four must have a range of training experience in a variety of industries. The Authority was created to give effect to national training agreements and replaced a larger body with a wider range of functions.~
