Description:
The Corporation was established to concentrate on managing State-owned forest resources. To this end, according to its Ministerial Charter this required it to manage and control all permament timber production zone land for the purpose of selling forest products.;;;;The Private Forestry Division of the former Department became a separate corporation on the same day that Forestry Tasmania was created.;;;;
