Description:
In 2002 some divisions of the former Department of State Development (namely Tourism Tasmania, Arts Tasmania, Events Tasmania, the Tasmanian Bicentenary Office and the Tasmanian Museum and Art Gallery) were transferred to the newly created Department of Tourism, Parks, Heritage and the Arts.
