Until 2006 known as the Office of Industrial Relations and State Service Management, the Office was created by the amalgamation of the Office of Industrial Relations (TA1647) and part of the Office of the State Service Commissioner (TA1609). Its role is to provide advice and policy development development, negotiations, and general State Service training co-ordination.;;;;From 2006-07 until 2013 it was known as the Public Sector Management Office.
