During the finanical year 2002-03 the Revenue Services and Revenue Support Branches were combined into the Revenue Branch within the Revenue Gaming & Licensing Division of the Department of Treasury & Finance. The term State Revenue Office has continued to be used since the 1980's despite this not appearing in any of the Department's Annual Reports.;;;;The Branch administers State taxation legislation, manages the assessment and collection of State taxes, and provides advice to taxpayers, including the preparation of Revenue Rulings and Guidelines. The Branch also manages the collection of outstanding State taxation debts, including court recovery and prosecution action where appropriate; and administers the Pensioner Rates Remission scheme, First Home Owner Grant and payroll tax rebate schemes. ;;
