The Authority was to identify, and where possible, maintain and enhance the cultural, historic, social and economic components of the Sullivans Cove area.;;;;It had five governing members appointed by the Minister, one of whom was selected from a list submitted by Hobart City Council and one a State Service employee, who held office for a three year term.;;;;The Authority was wound up in August 2011 at which time its functions passed to the Hobart City Council.
