Provision of education and school facilities for years 11 and 12 students.;;;;As a result of the State Government's Tasmania Tomorrow initiative; the Tasmanian Academy, the Tasmanian Polytechnic and the Training Enterprise commenced in 2009 as the new education providers for post Year 10 students.;;;;As part of this restructure, Newstead College was superseded by the Newstead campuses of the Tasmanian Academy and the Tasmanian Polytechnic.
