Description:
Regulation of standards of teaching in the non-state schools. Under Section 51 of the Eduction Act 1994, the registration of new non-government schools and the renewal of registrations of existing schools passed to the new Schools Registration Board of Tasmania. Under the Teachers Registration Act 2000, responsibility for the registration of all Tasmanian teachers passed to the new Teachers Registration Board of Tasmania.;;
