To advise the Minister on matters of general policy with respect to adult education.To investigate & report upon matters relating to adult education which may be submitted to the Board by the Minister for investigation and report. To plan the development of adult education in this State and to assist other bodies actually engaged in adult education in this state to take such steps and make such recommendations to the Minister, as the Board may think necessary or desirable, for the purpose of co-ordinating the activites of bodies engaged in adult education in the State.
