History note:
"In February 1933, the first issue of the Club journal 'The Tasmanian Tramp' appeared with Jack Thwaites and E.T. Emmett as the editors. Five issues were published between 1933 and 1936 but production problems and cost caused the temporary cessation of a printed issue. Two issues of a simpler, duplicator-type booklet, edited by Jeannette Cox, were produced in 1939. The war years stopped further productions."--Source: Hobart Walking Club Inc. : a record of eighty-one years, 1929 to 2010 (Online)
